Cradle

This cradle is from the old steel works across the river and harbour. This cradle continued a huge ladle that contained molten steel from the blast furnaces it was then poured into ingots a rolled out. having worked there for a short period of time in my formative years I can tell you it was bloody hot. It is no wonder BHP was called a Bloody Hot Place amongst many others!!.
