Thrawn Auld Besom!
This morning we were greeted by a gentle wag of the tail, bright eyes and a determination to have a good wander around the house and garden.
Still not interested in food but happy to be syringe fed with a high energy mush and loving cuddles and attention.
Back to the clinic for the day.
Despite everyone's attention and diligence she would only accept sryingefuls of the convalescent mush and didn't want to eat by herself.
By mid-morning she was scraping on the kennel door to get out and wander...
Still didn't want food, even when our nurse went out and bought chicken for her...
Everyone was getting waggy tails and she was becoming more thrawn about going back to bed.
We decided to let her home for the night.
As soon as her owner arrived she swiped the chicken off the plate and wolfed down the rest of the mush!
She has her mojo back!
No-one could ever imagine what this feels like!
We all admitted to leaking eyes as she headed home!
