These books offered me an escape. As a full time mum, I am consumed by my amazing children. Every little breath and beautiful smile they offer encompasses me. However, I had forgotten what it was like to be me. And that's when I got hooked on reading.
Fifty Shades had not long been released and everyone was taking about it. Not being an avid reader, at first I wasn't fussed about reading the books. But then a good friend said she fancied reading the series so we bought the three books together.
All of a sudden I was taken into another world; one of excitement, intimacy and in essence "mummy porn".
Since reading the series I have gone from reading 6 books in my life to reading at least one book a month.
And here I am, reading the Fifty Shades series for the second time, in time to prepare myself for the release of the movie next week.
