The significance of small things.
One of my former A level students, now on Foundation, dropped in to say 'hello' this afternoon. He'd brought some of his current work, including his digital portfolio, with him.
He offered to talk to my current students about his work, much of which is conceptual and heavily process driven. He spoke easily and engagingly leaving them with much to think about. Seeing significance in small, often ephemeral, objects, this piece (two pieces actually) stood out.
Last year H drafted, and presented, the department with a Manifesto that appeared on here. It was heartening to see the development that has taken place in his practice since then.
