Summertime in England

When I took this I thought 'Hope this comes out ok, it'll look soooooooo English with the old church behind'. Glad to say it did and I think it looks a typical quintessentially English scene. It was a lovely walk, nearly an hour in the sunshine through an Arboretum then through this field to the church and back around the roadway to another park. We do live in a lovely place, Abbeymead, Gloucester.
The church, by the way, is St Lawrence at Barnwood.

Marlane loved the photo but, being blind as a bat, said 'Oh look, you've got the old post box in as well'. No Marlane, that's a poo bin but it doesn't look out of place!

Meanwhile, Foxy was lying in bed (Marlane's) having a cuddle which is what he does best!
