Another Day Another Suprise.........

Well, i've lived across the road from Fort Brockhurst for around 24 years, and walked around it at least once a day for the same length of time, give or take holidays. And this is the first time i've seen a Fresh Water Turtle............!!!

Not the best picture i've ever taken, but here it is, more over to prove to myself that i actually did see it by the moat.

I'd estimate thats it's probably the size of a large dinner plate, around 8 or 9 inches in length. He seemed quite content sat on the far bank of the moat, warming himself in the sunshine.

I do remember when it only took me 25 minutes to walk around the entire Fort, these days it take me more like 1 hour and 25 minutes to walk around it...........

All ways on the look out for something different to photograph.
