Ballet exam result

Carys passed her ballet exam with a merit and top mark of the class. Typical of my daughter she wanted to know why she hadn't got a distinction. It was explained that Russian Ballet is very strictly marked and it is really hard to get a merit let alone a distinction. She was mollified by this and now is quite chuffed with herself.
