Thief descends to steal from the shopkeeper

Had fun in the sugar cane juice shop watching 3 mice descending and ascending an electric cord in order to steal food from the remains of the shopkeepers lunch.  Pretty hideous night in the lodge adjacent to both railway and very busy junction with lorries pounding their way to the coast and using their horns all the time - as do the trains.  Some have multiple tones.

Now in Bhuj which is the center of all tribal textile making.  Have seen some wonderful ethnic clothing and jewellery worn by by men and women in the bazaar this evening .  Visited the museum and the Palace this afternoon - dreadfully damaged in the 2001 earthquake but still lots to see.  Also found lots of birdlife, flamingo, large Siberian cranes, painted storks and huge herons.  Getting very hot in the daytime - 31'
