As cold as it looks

I liked this for today.  It really was as cold as it looks here.  How little creatures stay alive in this weather, I really don't know, though I suspect from a constant scattering of supermarket bread.  Sometimes you see it on the paths, which must please the rats, other times you can walk down a track decorated with sliced white speared on suitable bushes.  I guess this pleases the rats too, they are brilliant climbers.

Enough of that.  It's Friday and I had a long gossipy lunch with a lovely friend, so apart from getting nipped by the icy wind today was a day to feel quite pleased with life.
