frozen

Alcock Tarn, above Grasmere, this afternoon. The weather wasn't as good as the forecast yesterday indicated  but I needed the exercise (and a blip). I wouldn't have liked to go any higher without winter kit but this was the intended destination ..... up and down the longer but less steep route. One bonus was that it was so clear and bright in the distance that we could see Blackpool Tower (through the binoculars). 

I'm trying to get on top of housework - the sun of recent days has shown up all the dust, dirty windows and other things that need attention. Must make an effort to do a bit more every day and spend less time at the computer.
