Cairo Roof Scape

A weekend barbeque at the flat of one of Dd's colleagues afforded a view of this Cairo city scape. We met some interesting people including two young American citizens working on the legal side of finding refugees, who find themselves in Egypt from all over the Middle East and Africa, a new home in a country prepared to welcome them. Few are successful and most end up staying here struggling with language barriers and so on to make any kind of living. The one thing that unites them is a desire to get out of Egypt. Some have been trying for fifteen years.
