Weethley
I was pootling around the Worcs./Warks. boundary late this morning and pulled in to look at a church called Weethley St James, which appears from the road to be standing on its own in a field but is actually at the end of a tiny village which runs along a single track lane. In front of the church as you approach it there is a pond, which was totally frozen over today, and behind it there is a tremendous view southwards towards the Cotswold Edge and Bredon Hill. I was struggling to get decent shots of the church in the strong patchy light; so I thought it would be fun instead to try to capture these crepuscular rays over the fields to the south.
