Warm dawn

After a chilly evening at the very well ventilated - and therefore cold! - indoor kart track last night, I craved some warmth today. Brrr it was shivery again, though, for the 7 a.m. station run.

On the way back, I was mesmerised by the drama of several pink con-trails from aircraft criss-crossing in the sky, but as I was driving I couldn't capture them quickly enough, and by the time I had stopped and pointed, they were gone.

The sky was still beautiful with the rising sun and pink-flushed clouds, though, so they are today's blip.
