Creating 5 Journeys

After yesterday's Blip of my "Contraption" piece, I thought it might be good to give you a little of the background to it's creation.

So here we have the infamous drawing truck, which was originally the bottom of a TV stand on castors. I gave it sides and cut paper to size so that the drawing implements could do their stuff. The truck was towed around the city streets until some interesting marks were made.

Top row it's the paint picture, using tester pots with holes drilled in their sides. Bottom are the other mark makers: pen, chalk, pastel and charcoal. 

The result was as posted yesterday!!
