" SLEEPY OLD STOGUMBER "

This is the place, scene from a different angle, the other side of the village. Phoebe is very reluctant to go out these days, but this afternoon managed to coax her out into the sunshine.  We went down the hill from our house, and straight up into the farmers field.  The views are spectacular, and here you can see the nucleus of the village, the church, back of the pub and the hills beyond.

The weather today has been cold but bright and for the first time, a hint of Spring with the sun having some strength.  I appreciate that for some still surrounded by deep snow, that sounds ridiculous and I'm sorry you are still in the depths of winter.  Who knows, we may be under loads of the stuff next week!

So glad tomorrow is Saturday and the village is hosting a 'village breakfast' so we'll have to get up for that 'feast'!
