Fantasea really was a fantasy!
Today we didn't do anything special, the most we managed to do was get Bianca a doctor's appointment to finally get some medicine that will sort out her facial swelling and blisters. Who knew sun burn could cause so much grief.
Tonight definitely made up for it. We went to see the Fantasea show and it was held inside a massive amusement park. There were gold and glitzy traditional Thai buildings and people in costumes every where. As you walked through it there were rides, games and stalls of people making things right in front of you. One of the stalls had a man burning glass and shaping it into colourful elephants. It was so nice to walk around.
They also had a Tiger Kingdom you could visit. There were funky colourful rooms filled with peacocks and parrots. The ceilings were glass with snakes sliding across it. Right at the end, there were two beautiful white tigers. Me and Bianca managed to get a selfie with it while he was glaring at us!
The big finale was the Fantasea show. It was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. It told a story of the History of Thailand with magical elements added in. There were tigers on stage and elephants in amazing sparkling outfits. They did the best stunts, it was shocking to see! The show was filled with tricks, fireworks, animals and Thai dancers. One of the best parts was when they turn off all the lights, and then all of a sudden these glow in the dark dancers fell from the ceiling and were dancing from ropes and beams. Unfortunately we were under strict instructions to not use our cameras or we would get in a lot of trouble. I really wanted to take photos to remember how good it was, but I couldn't!
Tonight was definitely one of my favourite things about Phuket yet!
