Ella with her Parents

Our friend Thierry with his partner Aude and their four-month old Ella. We had dinner at Thierry's with other friends. Not a wonderful shot, but it was a bit dark, and with nine people (including Ella) around the aperitif table it was difficult to get a good pose. This is the blip from our visit with them last year, celebrating both my birthday and Thierry's father's.

In the afternoon I visited an exhibition of photographs of the liberation of Paris in August 1944 at the Carnavalet Museum. I was with friends--more on them tomorrow.
