Kirkie cake-shop

Saw this on a walk around Kirkintilloch a few days ago and decided to return for a closer look - and to capture on my camera - on Friday.

Can't imagine that there are too many soaperies around - certainly in Central Scotland - although I' could well be wrong. This one, the Caurnie Soaperie, dates from the 1920s (according to the sign on the wall) and claims to be the oldest and last working cold press soaperie in the world.

One up for Kirkintilloch!
