Frozen

I was a bit surprised to find the loch almost completely frozen over today. It's cold, but it didn't feel that cold.
The girls & I managed to break a piece and it was about an inch & a half thick.

I remember as a kid, the school assembly announcements about the loch being frozen over and not to go on the ice. Which pretty much instantly made our decision of what we were going to do that lunchtime.

There's a little bit more of me than there was in those days, so I decided to take the headmaster's advice. For once.
