Hole in the hedge

There is usually a church spire visible whichever way I point the camera, This is the spire of Surfleet church and is more than 6 feet out of perpendicular.  When the spire was built it quickly sank out of true into the fenland soil.  Until the 1970's, the 12 bells were the lightest ringable peal of twelve in the world.
