A conundrum!!

Which is better. 

To play golf well, qualify for the final, then find that the date for the final has been changed and you will be in the UK, so cannot play.  Or, play badly and not qualify?

I did the latter today, so I don't feel so bad, I am now going to console myself with a nice piece of fresh tuna with some veggies and a bottle of Faustino VII white Rioja.
