Football playing nephew.

My only nephew lives in Germany and the USA, but is at school here in Marlborough. So I get to see him from time to time...though not as much as you might imagine.

I had the bizarre experience of teaching him this week when I was doing a cover lesson. Since I was only covering the second half of the lesson, I had not printed off a set list and only realised he was there a good 5 minutes into the session, when I was handing out some worksheets! We both played it rather cool. "Yeah, thanks" he said, along with a few others as he was leaving.

Today I was in full auntie mode, supporting on the side line with grandad. Under these conditions I am allowed a public hug! His team won 3-2 and he scored twice, so he was quite pleased. For info, he is the handsome kid - centre shot - in the blue kit with go faster orange boots.
