The Cold Bath?

A notice on Rusthall Common reads " These historic steps were originally installed in 1708 to provide access to the Cold Bath. They are badly worn and very slippery. Use them at your own risk"  Could you resist such an invitation?  Gingerly I descended the very steep historic steps looking for the Cold Bath.  I found three ponds that had seen better days not not sure whether these were the baths.  I had never been here before, it was quite and adventure.  I need to find an old map to be sure.
