Pretty fun day with Dexter.
Early start. Long nap. 
Visit to his grandad who's feeling a bit under the weather. Dexter was in a great mood and had particularly enjoyed playing the bodhran.

Tried a much earlier bath tonight and it paid off - not shouting.  In fact, he actually enjoyed it and no shouts after either. We even managed to squeeze in an enthusiastic supper. 
Patience.
