Day 38 - perfect paddling power!

Three beautiful things:

A day spent paddling the Lower Lower Dart in open canoes! Water was low but that meant we had to negotiate the rocks! Great to have a go at ferry gliding a canoe! The image is of my paddling buddy - only her second trip on this part of the river and she did great!

A chance to just stop and be in the moment.

Watching the various visitors to the bird table including two vibrant male bullfinches
