The pink robe

My son bought himself a pink robe when we were in Reykjavík last weekend.  When I asked him why, he told me about this club in his college which is called SloppMA / RobeMA (MA being the college initials, Menntaskólinn á Akureyri).  Once in a while there are special Robe-days where students are encouraged to wear their robes to school and those who do get free coffee and kleinur and participate in a lottery.
But now that he's got this gorgeous cozy robe he's been using it daily at home, like tonight when he sat down with his tea and mathematics after a long day working at the till in Nettó.
