Albi Cathedral
From my journal: September 22, 2006
We took off early this morning for Albi. This time we rode with Stephanie, Myrna and Mary. We drove out to the dry rolling wine country, up over the mountains, down above the roofs of Mazamet to Albi. There we saw a big cathedral with ornate painted ceilings with sculptured stone. We then went to the Toulouse Lautrec Museum after lunch. We drove home to fog and rain. John and Lucy invited us out and we went to Rieux Minervois for a delicious dinner. We came home to play scrabble and eat desert before an early bedtime.
