Head, Shoulders, Fingers, Toes

Today I went to a massive outdoor pursuits store and got myself a waterproof jacket and a new pair of hiking boots. My ankle has been really sore the past week or so and I decided to do something about it. I have got to say, the staff in the store were first class, very attentive and helpful but with no hard sell. I'll be going back there soon to get a few other things that I need - I have to get things bit by bit because trying to get it home on the bus is an outdoor challenge all of its own!

My picture today is of my bike helmet and gloves. This evening I took a deep breath, overcame my nervousness and went out on my bike for the first time. I didn't go very far but I got on really well and I absolutely loved it.
