Sadly, this is not the usual school uniform

I had a session with a group of children and teachers in a school today. We were meeting to start a consultation/design process which will transform this room from a rather garish yet dull spare classroom into a stimulating space for children and adults alike.

The first session coincided with a year 4 movie themed afternoon which explains why this boy is wearing a mask - it doesn't explain why he left it on throughout the session and despite the sweltering heat, that can only be explained by boyish enthusiasm and the timeless lure of the mask!

Oh,I forgot to say, it wasn't his mask, which explains the odd Roman Centurion/Batman combo!
