A perfect Sunday

What a beautiful Sunday it has been.  The weather outside has been warm and sunny.  A lovely walk along the beach today listening to the unbelievably calm water swishing around by the shore.  It was so warm that three swimmers were in the sea - I think they were training for some event.  Not saying it was warm in the sea because their bodies were red raw when they came out but it was a surprise to see them in the water, considering the weather this week has been the coldest it has been this year.  The rest of us were all wrapped up in coats, hats and scarves.
So a Sunday walk, followed by a coffee, Sunday roast is busy cooking and later curled up ready for Top Gear and reading a good book.  It is so nice being able to read for pleasure now rather than academic reading.  I am enjoying it so much.
Having a day like today is so what is needed, my workload and stress at work has been horrendous, so I look forward to days like these where we can enjoy being together and each others' company, as well as amazing scenery.  As we always say, we take for granted where we live and we are so lucky to live by the sea!
