Community Woodland

Getting a bit stir crazy I jumped in the car and went down to the Langlees Community woodland for a wander down towards the Kelpies.  Nice enough walk but it looks like they have just had a job lot of trees at some time and planted them by the thousands. A strangely sterile place, basically a big field of trees with the usual amount booze cans and bottles, stolen bikes in the ditches and the odd melted wheelie bin. 

Wandered down to the back of the Kelpies and took a few shots of the beasties not at their most imperious, shots for another day.....

This one was where the field of trees meets the flooded plain, I think they actually planted them in there as well, further round there are rows of trees looking like a man made mangrove.
