Snowdrops

Lovely bright day with almost a hint of Spring . Our city centre may have won the " Carbuncle of the Year " award this week but once you get away from Union Street there are some lovely bits to the Granite City.
The old Deeside Railway line has been converted to a footpath which will get you out to Ballater if you are energetic . Most Aberdonians play on the bit that runs from the Duthie Park to Culter . I was on my bike today but spotted lots of folk walking , jogging, running, rollerblading,  and a couple of folks on horseback . Lovely views of the Dee but less lovely views of the line of the new  bypass which will cross the footpath at Milltimber Brae. There were also some snowdrops...
