Wood fuel

A very flat an miserable day here in Hampshire. Spent most of the day indoors doing dull things. In the afternoon we ran the stove, and once it was going we put a beef stew on top to stew slowly for a few hours. Evening TV was dire, my better half doesn't like Spiral, so we didn't have our usual fix of foreign crime TV on BBC4.

Today's very late and back blip picture is a close up of some of the grain on the wood we feed into the stove. It was a eucalyptus tree in our garden we had chopped down when we moved into our house, and it's been seasoning in the log store ever since.
