1500

I did have a think about doing something a little different for my 1500th but in the end the big blanket of fog made it all seem a little pointless. 

Instead we walked down to a Mere that was wonderfully gloomy. I did want a little colour so these reeds fitted the bill perfectly. 

It is always rather interesting when there is no horizon apart from the occasional disgruntled duck or coot. The bird life doesn't seem to like the fog much at as it was all fighting for space on the extremities of the lake. Needless to say the Canada geese were particularly vocal.

I want to say thank you to all of you who come and look at my photos and comment so regularly and this is despite the fact I am an endlessly rubbish Blipmate in response.
