Over in the west today ...
... visiting my Aunt Nancy and parents.
The weather was a bit drab over there though, and not conducive to photography, so you are getting a blip taken in Bernard Street in Edinburgh earlier today.
The street is named after innkeeper Bernard Lindsay who was granted the barony of the area by King James VI. In 1780, the first public sewer in Scotland was built in Bernard Street, flowing into the Water of Leith. The iron seal of the sewer is still visible by the bridge where Bernard Street meets Constitution Street.
I hope you have all had a good Sunday.
