Hope much is that big telescope in the window?

Whether you like them big or small, they were all at the Astrofest 2015. You can easily spend 5 figures on a big robot telescope. The electronics is now so smart you can simply switch it on, it works out where exactly where on Earth it is, and then you can tell it to point at any object or part of the sky and off it slews.

Simply dreamy stuff if you are a gear-head, and yes, I am afraid I am guilty as charged. Astroporn at is best.

Great talks at the show this year too. Can't wait for more science from the Rosetta mission and fingers crossed that the Philae lander might get enough power to send back a few more bytes.
