Schweinenackenbraten

Was what was on my mind when we headed to Swabinger for a late lunch.

The only problem was that the staff had staged a protest about the lack of a Christmas bonus resulting in the original owners throwing in the towel.

No more Schweinenackenbraten but a pretty good Eisbein was the best substitute from the new menu. No red cabbage either but the sauerkraut filled in nicely.

It's not ever going to be the same but you have to make the most out of difficult situations.

At least the Paulaner was nicely chilled!
