The journey from Llangollen to Birmingham is boring: the interminable schlep past Shrewsbury followed by a long motorway drag is guaranteed to leave me bored and impatient.

Today, however, I wasn't driving, giving me the chance to experiment with a 50mph panoramic shot. It isn't perfect but it is good enough to leave me feeling artistically vindicated.

So I had a snooze. Obviously.
