A barrel of monkeys

A few weeks ago, I made a purchase on Ebay that I couldn't pass up. It was a tool that will help me be a better photographer. It was this mannequin head. I bought it to practice and test lighting configurations since it can hold a pose forever and won't ever complain they are tired or have something else she needs to get to.

This morning, I photographed her by window light and was going to post the blip "raw". But then I started mucking around with Photoshop and decided there will be other days when you'll see her as she is. She's been sitting in a box in the garage, waiting for me to put her to some use. You'll be seeing more of her in the future.

Maybe I'll have a naming contest. If you have any suggestions....
