Dedham

Sunshine! What a day! We collected Mum and went for a walk over the water meadows from Dedham to Flatford (and back). We all bundled up, and the sun was so warm on our backs it actually made us feel hot! It was so welcome after weeks of coldness; some blue sky makes such a difference. The river was alive with birds, and we spotted several buzzards soaring amongst the thermals. We followed the walk with a pub lunch next to a log fire, then got back to Bentley and all almost fell asleep over a cup of tea.
