Boats

Saturday started too early just before 6:30am - but since he'd actually slept through for once that was not too bad in the grand scheme of things. Our big project for the afternoon was taking out the built in spare bed in matthew's room. It's been useful to sit on or lie on while trying to get him to sleep until now but it makes a lot more space and prepares us for the big room shuffle at some point in the future. It turned out to be a bit of a monster job so I took Matthew off to distract him while daddy got on with it. Some playing with boats in the sink went down well and we had a nice play outside too. Day only marred by an hour for daddy to get him to sleep at bedtime!
