Colourful Lapwing
Had to get up fairly early today to drop one of the Girls at the Ark. The local Army Cadet Detachment she is a member of are doing some volunteering there. I took the opportunity to visit the "Nook", as I haven't been for a while. There wasn't a lot up there today. It's probably far too cold, but on the way home the fields were full of the most beautifully coloured lapwings foraging in the mud.
This one is so clear, it had to be used for a blip.
