7 February 2015 - Wooden Sculpture

Saturday morning started early, I got up and dragged myself on a whim to Capel Bangor in the hope that I might catch the sun and the mist on the valley floor.  I missed it however, I really need to get a bit more organised if I am getting up early to take pictures.  Luckily, I stopped in a lay-by and liked the look of this tree so took a few pictures and this was the best of the bunch. 

Rest of the day involved a 5.6 mile walk around Aberystwyth, soaking up the rays, taking pictures, drinking tea and mooching around the farmers market.  Afterwards, I sat on the sofa and watched the two rugby games before getting ready for my Saturday night. 

Met up with Medwyn, Rob and Bobi (Rob's girlfriend) and walked up to the Arts Centre to watch Kate in her latest Castaway production - Oliver Twist.  As always she was brilliant and I enjoyed the version they put on.  Had a couple of closing night drinks with Kate and Medwyn in Rummers and then left them to it as I was being good ahead of my drive back to Swindon.
