Buttermere Pines

LPH Backblip #4

Day four and back out by ourselves again, this time driving through Newlands Valley to Buttermere.  We took photos at one end of the lake, then drove to the other end for lunch.  

We had to run out of the field where we were having lunch as some frisky cows came careering down the hill towards us!

We then took some great photos of the pines before heading back via Castlerigg Stone Circle.
