The Devils Punchbowl
Another great day out with the photography group!
The forecast was for cloud. We got a full 'feels like' chill factor when we arrived forcing some of the group back, just as the sun came out. For the rest of us, it became bliss. Gloves off, sunshine and such a beautiful location. This is one of the paths that runs around the ridge of the the indentation in the landscape that, legend has it, was scooped out by the devil as he gathered ammunition to throw at the God Thor. We walked what was the main road before the Hindhead Tunnel was built. Spectacular scenery and well worth the visit.
I tripped this morning. I remained erect but sent the a bowl of sheep nuts flying. I was already running late so refilled and gave the babes their treats and thought no further. Unfortunately, whilst I was away, the spilt bounty was to good to resist. I returned home to a well pruned garden with six sheep waiting patiently for me on the doorstep. :) It happens.
All safely back in the paddock and the fence now sheep proofed again.
