Patterns and Pebbles

Went with the girls for a further exploration of the cove I found yesterday! This part of the coast has some cliffs which are being seriously eroded, the different coloured pebbles are on the shore are interesting and I was wishing I could remember my geology better but it was many years ago that I studied it!
The cliffs of grey clay sit on this stripy sand coloured rock. A few hawthorns clung to the clifftop, I don't think they will be there much longer!
