Velodrome

B's ' birthday present to himself ' was tickets for the four of us to go watch the final sessions of the revolution series of races at the sir Chris Hoy velodrome in Glasgow. None of us had been to a velodrome before so it was very exciting. We went to B's mum's for dinner first and then arrived a little late after poorly organised parking left us all queuing around the stadium !
We arrived at 7.30 and didn't leave until after the last race had finished at 10.45. It was action packed with race after race - some starting whilst the previous contenders were still leaving the track! Very entertaining though, and impressive to watch. We all arrived home exhausted and went straight to bed.
