18th Birthday

We had a fun night with family celebrating Austin's birthday....wow, 18 years ago I finally got my first grandchild....I remember the day well....no grandma could have been happier.

Grandmothers, grandfathers, aunts, uncles, cousins, brother and sister sat around and shared our favorite Austin memories. Of course, there were the memories that embarrassed him and others brought a big smile. We are all so blessed to have closeness and wonderful memories.

Yes, he left that hat on all evening....and his cousin had his baseball type hat on backwards all night too. You chose your battles.....and let go of the desire for the boys to remove their hats.
