A perfect summers day in paradise
After a great nights sleep woke to a mist rising all around us which soon cleared as the sun came up. The sky was clear blue, not a cloud to be seen and so warm.
It really was a leisurely start to the day, especially with a good book.
Ian set some lines up and we started trolling and it wasn't long before he had a really nice trout on board. No photos as I was too busy bring my line in and getting the net ready to land it. Then it was my turn with a beauty trout, but after quite a run it flicked up in the air and lost the lure.
Saw some friends out skiing in their boat so sent the trout home with them for their dinner, saved us dealing with it and keeping it chilled.
We trolled around under the mountain and picked up some more trout, but released them all as they were a bit small. There was not a breath of air, the lake was like a mirror. I loved the patterns of the mountain and the bush reflected in the water.
And the day continued with much of the same....the perfect way to relax, no jobs to be done and no electronic devices, computer or TV's.
