Sunrise in Chiang Mai

It was my first-ever ride in a hot air balloon. I have a fear of heights but decided to take the ride nevertheless.  As some people like to say, you only live once. At 400 metres above ground, I was practically frozen and did not dare to make much movement. However, when I saw the fingers of morning sun rays piercing through the clouds and enveloping the sleepy city of Chiang Mai, I knew I had to take a shot.
